Prorectors



His research interests are Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations with applications in Geometry, Physics and Materials Science. He is the coordinator of European projects of excellence such as Erasmus Mundus Joint Master and Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action. He has been President of the Bachelor and Master degree in Mathematics and Vice-Director of the Department of Computer Science.

Rector's Delegates



He focuses on temporal reasoning models applied to business and medical processes, as well as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models. He collaborates with partners in the USA, Austria, and France in the field of temporal reasoning and with the Verona University Hospital to develop RAG models to support patient information services. He has served as a member of the Academic Senate and is the Information Technology Services Coordinator for his Department.


He coordinates several scientific projects about logistics and supply chain management. He is Director of the LOOP Research Center on Circular Economy, Deputy Director of the Department of Management, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management (IJPDLM). He has also served as a member of the Academic Senate

University Representatives

He works on models and techniques for managing and processing spatio-temporal data in the fields of geography and tourism. He has contributed to the Italian standard for geo-topographic databases and led research projects on archaeological and tourism data. He has been the Director of the CLA since 2020, where he promoted the CLA CINECA software platform.






His research focuses on wastewater treatment and resource recovery. He coordinates and participates in national and European projects (Horizon Europe, MSCA, LIFE, Eurostars). He is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee for the Biotechnology Bachelor’s Programme and of the Public Engagement and Knowledge Transfer Committee. He was Vice President of the University’s RUS Commission and is part of the technical committee for the sustainability report.

His research focuses on occupational health and safety, the impact of new technologies on work, and anti-discrimination law. He is actively engaged in several scientific projects in these areas. He is currently Director of the Advanced and Professional Development Course in Labour Consultancy and formerly served as Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Services for Enterprises, Public Administrations and Non-Profit Organizations.


He coordinates the IoT4care research group, which focuses on the design and verification of cyber-physical and IoT systems for smart living. He is President of the Information Engineering Teaching Committee and ANVUR system expert. He has also served as President of the University Quality Assurance Board



She conducts research in cognitive neuroscience, focusing on the neural dynamics of visual awareness in both physiological and pathological conditions. She has received funding from national and international agencies for basic and pre-competitive research projects in these domains. She coordinates the Perception and Awareness (PandA) Lab and has held several institutional roles in departmental committees and the doctoral program board.



He studies the performance determinants, evaluation, and intervention models in human conditioning. He coordinates the Run For Science, SPIN, and CM projects; collaborates in the iNEST and SHIELD projects. Past member of the CPDS of Medicine School, AQ committees of Sports Sciences, and LM47, Coordinator for the L22 course; member of the ACSM and SISMES.
International Agreements, Joint Degrees and Rankings


Director of Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Hygiene at IRCCS Sacro Cuore, the first clinical hub of the University of Verona. President of the Degree Programme in Dental Hygiene, she previously led Dentistry and was Deputy President of Medicine. With wide clinical, academic, and governance experience, she advances prevention, integration, and community healthcare, and is President of the Italian Society of Dental Traumatology.
