Programma

The course follows the units of the book -English File Digital Gold (fourth edition) B2 by Latham-Koenig, Oxenden, Chomacki. Oxford and further development using photocopiable material. Exercises emphasising grammar structures and open cloze passages give students the opportunity to develop vocabulary and syntax skills. Planned structuring of essays and lexical knowledge deepen students' writing skills. Organised oral work in twos or small groups allow students to put their knowledge into spoken practise.

Modalit� d'esame

The written exam has the following format: Part 1 open cloze - students read a passage carefully and insert 15 words of their choice in the spaces so that the text makes sense. There are also 5 sentences which must be transformed using a given word without changing the meaning of the original sentence. Part 2 Essay on a current topic (health, education, environment, technology or culture). Oral exam: an introduction of the candidates, reading a passage with a discussion of vocabulary and ideas about the text and/or description of pictures.
