Programma

At Level C2, Candidates are expected to have reached a near native level of proficiency in English and as such there is no definitive list of text types for this level. Candidates will encounter texts which are both familiar and relevant to them as learners of English as well as texts that are technical, abstract and unfamiliar to them, including classic and contemporaneous literary works. The Candidate is able to understand with ease virtually everything heard or read and be able to summarise from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts and presenting them coherently. At this level, the Candidate is expected to be able to express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely and be able to differentiate finer shades of meaning even in complex situations in both written and spoken form.

Modalit� d'esame

Exams are done in class: essay 800-100 words on set book, or material done in class second term: 500-800 word essay done in your own time on topic of your choice or set book ORAL: 10 minute presentation on topic of your own choice with slides and questions to be answered at the end.
